Kasabada means 'at the village' in Turkish. At Kasabada Studio we aim to create our own village. We form our own tribe of people who share a love for creativity, fashion, cultures and arts. No matter who you are or where you are from.
There are a great variety of traditional Anatolian fabrics from different regions and communities. Our collections are an ode to the old tribes, people and places. At Kasabada Studio we aim to connect and we honour legacies by bringing back traditions in a modern wearable way.
The face behind the brand
Kasabada Studio is founded by Defne Aksit born and raised in a mixed Turkish and Dutch household. From a young age, Defne always had love and passion for fashion, arts and music. Kasabada Studio is all about connecting the old and the new, the east with the west and to celebrate old traditions and give them a new life. But most of all, Kasabada Studio is there brighten your day and that it will bring a smile to your face with al it's bold colours. Just like you!
